EOS Rebel Xs

My AE-1 is on the blitz, so I pulled out my backup, a Canon EOS Revel XS. I know little about this Rebel, other than it's a decent camera, but I can't seem to find any info on it. (I bought it used, for backup only). Why does Canon not list it under their products listings? If it is now known by a different name, how do I find out what that is? I need to know this info to buy accessories and get the camera's technical stats for my own references/needs.

I believe this model is discontinued and has been replaced by the Rebel 2000. You may be able to find an owner's manual for your camera at a professional photo shop in your area or at eBay.

Technical specifications for the Rebel XS (and all Canon cameras) can be found in the Canon Camera Museum, maintained at their international website, www.canon.com (the www.usa.canon.com site is much less informative).
