Photography Question

Debra Louden

property release

Do you need a property release for pictures taken at U.S. National Parks, or say, from a public road or highway? Who owns the "view" when you take a picture from a road of the mountains in the distance? Do you need a property release from every owner of land between the road and the mountain? How about National Landmarks?

Thanks
Debbie

As far as I know,...property releases are only required for commercial use of photos of private property which is "recognizable".
National Parks and landmarks are public domain.
