Photography Question

How to print 6x4 photos

I have a Canon S400SP printer that is about 3 years old, and performs satisfactorily except when it comes to handle 6x4 glossy photo cards, for which it has settings.

No matter how I adjust the printer the photo is never centred. New drivers have been installed without any success. I have heard that printers are either border or borderless.
ny avice would be much appreciated

Have you tried setting the margin on ONE side while leaving the other side as 0. I used this to trick my Canon printer to print the image in the center when I am using other brands of perforated 4x6 paper. Hope this helps.

Thanks for your response.
Since putting the question I changed the Page Set Up settings on the printer
as follows

Page Size to 'Custom' (1009mmx1499mm)
Printer paper size to 'Custom'
Printing Type to 'Fit to Page'
printing

This seems to give much better results

Many thanks for your suggestion
