Which digital camera to get? For the past few years I've been working with a nikon N60 but now I'm ready to go digital. Problem is, I don't know whether I want to go semipro or get a d-slr. I've narrowed it down to the Sony DSC-F717, Sony DSC-F828, and the Canon digital Rebel. Obviously, I would be most comfortable with the Rebel since its so close to the N60, but price-wise, the F717 is the most favorable. I'm a college amatur photographer. Any opinions?

i've been having the same problem, most of my local stores have the DSC-F828 and the Canon D rebel at the same price, after reading countless reveiws i've decided to get the sony f828, but in your case I think the rebel would be a better suit. most of the lenses and attatchments from your N60 would fit and, like you said, you would feel more comfortable. changing to digital is a big enough leap, you don't need the hassal of an unfamilia system and style. - keep shootin'! -
