Photography Question

Ryan C. Lee Chow

Canon Digital Rebel or Fuji S7000

I have been looking to go digital for some time now and came across the Canon 300D and the Canon 10D. Of course, the 10D was my favorite but was too expensive. Recently I found out about the Fuji FinePix S7000 and was pretty impressed with it, but I needed a little help on deciding. I own a canon and I'm a serious canon fan but the fuji was $300 less than the canon and had the same mega pixel. I hope to do professional photograhpy soon with the new digital camera. My question is, can I expect the same quality from the Fuji as I can expect from the Canon? Thanks in advance

If you have a Canon SLR, then I would presume you have Canon compatible lenses. In that case, I would suggest going with the Canon SLR even though it is more money. Perhaps, save up some money to buy the Canon.

That way, your current lenses will work with your digital camera as well.

Just a thought.
