Photography Question

What Kind of Cameras for me?


 
 
I am a teenager intrested in photography. I have taken pictures recently of really close flowers and bugs, ect. I don't really know that much about the camera its self, I have been researching on this site as well as others about what kind I should get. I know that I need macro / close-up capabilities. I would like an LCD screen(what I have used in the past has had one and it is a major help). And I am lost.My budget maxs at about $350. I was hoping you could point me in the right direction.

doug Nelson 		  I'm afraid you're proposing using a point'n shoot digital camera for a very specialized purpose. For your budget, I'd buy a used 35mm SLR and a 50mm or 100 macro lens. The lens will cost more than the camera, but you'll be well within your budget.
