What lense to choose? I want is to get very close to my subject. But I also want to be able to be far away from a subject yet get a real close up. What kind of lense would be right for me? I have a Minolta QTsi.

Cindy,I also have the Minolta QTSI maxxum. Its a great camera which I enjoy,I also like to get up close from afar off. I purchased a 70-300 quantaray lens with a macro setting that is compattable with the QTSI. It does a great job and the zoomed images are awesome. I wouldnt trade this lens for nothing and I use it virtually all the time. You can see a lens demonstration for this lens at ritzcamera.com.
