Contest How do I find the current contest (September)...how do I know which I'm looking at? some of the pictures are familiar and I don't know if it's because I've seen them as new entries in current contest or if it's previous contest entries I'm viewing. Also, is there any reason to re-enter a picture...if it did not receive a mention...or should I just figure if it wasn't acknowledged, then it's not going to be and enter others? Thanks, Laura

Hi Laura, just go to the contest page and you will see the current contest entries highlighted in blue. Also please be careful and not re-enter a given photo, read the terms and conditions real carefully. I hope this helps :)

Hi Joe, Thanks for such a prompt response. I realize I did not ask my questions clearly. I know October is the current contest. Where do we view September winners that were supposed to be posted Oct. 15? Re the contest entries...do you mean do not enter the same photo in the same months contest or ever again? Or is it ok to resubmit each month, hoping it will receive notice??? :-} Thanks,

Hi Laura, I was wondering the same thing. I read that they are a bit behind and should have the winning photos out to view by this weekend. I think it is ok to re-enter the same photo in another month's contest. I hope I am correct on this as I did that already. LOL! Good luck!

Thanks Mary Ann...now I feel better...I've been clicking all over the place on the site looking for the new ones. Enjoy looking at new entries as they come in and always interested in seeing what catches the judges eye. Of course always hoping something I send will! I think I entered one this month that I entered last month. I will look for yours...do you have a gallery? Laura

I know what you mean about clicking all over. LOL! No, I do not have a gallery. I am very new at this and could sure use one of these courses. I don't think my photos are half bad though. I enjoy sending them in and reading any comments that people make and if I would just happen to win or even be a finalist, it would be a bonus. Do you have a gallery?

Hi again Mary Ann, Although I've been taking pictures for years and years, I'm really trying to get serious now...well seriously trying to have fun with photography! I figure 1 out of 8 turns out to be a good shot. Haven't got the hang of exposures and apertures yet. Rely too much on my auto setting I'm afraid. Yes, I do have a gallery. When you read this response, there should be a place to click on "Laura's Gallery" below the paragraph. I think the gallery is a good deal...only $18 a year and worth it. I haven't had a lot of comments, but it's thrilling to know even a few people thought enough of my pictures to critique them, whether pro or con. :-D Hope to hear from you again. Laura
