B&W C41 film

i'm a beginner just trying to get some B&W pictures on a point-and-shoot camera. most of the stores here only carry Kodak's process C-41 T400CN B&W film, and I heard that C-41 film processed in regular photo stores come out with some sort of bluish tinge or brownish tinge. is there anyway to overcome that other than processing it mysely?

thanks :)

The color cast is because the prints are made on color paper and the operator has not made the proper color balance adjustments. You can avoid this, and having to go back and have corrected reprints made, by requesting that the photos be printed on black & white paper. This may involve an extra charge.
