Photo Albums,how do I make my pictures last? I wanted to put together a photo album of pictures of my family. I am worried about keeping my pictures looking good for as long as possible. I have heard that you need to buy acid free paper to mount the pictures on, and not to use those magnetic boards. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I'll suggest you to go and buy the type of artistic albums, like the ones that look like hard cardboard, and only accepts those corner-holders for your pics!.. And yes, go for the acid free type of albums, because those will make your pics last forever, the ones with acid will destroy your pics as the years go by!... It looks more professional, and also more of a story-teller book; and you could make a few for different pics if you want to show different stories about trips with friends, family, weddings, etc!... You could also make like little albums in different sequels, like showing a wedding in parts and having a different title: 1.The reception. 2.The wedding. 3.The party. And having 3 different albums in one!.... Also in those albums, what you can do is, to use some acid free color paper like parchment and stick the whole sheet in the center of the page and center your pics on the center of it, or just cut squares or rectangles of the same paper all over the page, and kind of balance the colors and the size with the colors and the size of the photos!... I hope this could help you!...

Don't buy the usual type of stickers that you could buy in a photostore and stick'em on your pics or the inside of your pages (the ones that say: it's me, this is y brother, or something like that)!... Be clean and neat if you want them to look professional or to be a nice formal album!...
