Needs help with filters. I am looking at filters I have for my camera and I am trying to figure out what they really do? I have blue, yellow, red, clear, Lt. Brown ones and many more. How do I know when to use them if I don't know what they are really meant for? Thank you so much!!!

Each filter should have a 'code', like 81A, 80, UV, CIR-PL, etc. Go to any one of the filter companies' site and you should get all the information about your filters. Tiffen - http://www.tiffen.com/ Hope this helps.
