Telephoto Lenses I have a Canon EOS camera, I want to shoot super telephoto 1000 plus mm and cost is an issue. Can I get quality photos from a spotting scope under $800.00? Small wildlife in my area very spooky.

Have you looked into mirror lenses. They come in long focal lengths and are relatively inexpensive.
