Flash Photo Results in Half Light/Half Dark I'm using a one year old Nikon N65 indoors and when I shoot a vertical photo with the built-in Speedlight, on Auto setting, the flash half of the photo is overexposed and the non-flash half is dark (as if completely underexposed). I have read other questions regarding this topic and found that the flash/shutter speed sync could be off, however, wouldn't Auto setting ensure that the correct shutter speed was used for the built-in flash? Also, when I took horizontal shots using the same flash, they were fine.
