Low light, High contrast

I'm very interested in B&W. I'm a musician, spend alot of time photgraphing bands..LIVE! How do I get the old High Contrast, B&W grainy, pictures, they used to get back in the 60's and 70's ??, I like the stark , and cold look they had, Please help, have a Nikon N70, tele lens, and a sunpak flash. How do I get that low- tech look?--Thanx in advance

Get some Tmax P3200 or Ilford Delta 3200 and expose it at ISO1600 and have it developed at ISO3200. You will get high contrast and grain.

Next question..........;-)))
