zone metering What is the most effective metering method when using the zone system reflective or incident? or does it matter?

The zone system is based upon placing different tonal values. To determine these tones you need to meter the different tones. To do that you need a reflective (preferably spot) meter. I'm sure it can be done with an incident but it would be more difficult to measure a scenes tonal range.
