Pop-ups and sidebars Ok, how do we get rid of the "sidebar" that keeps popping up with every page? Having to X it out every time is a pain in the backside. Then I keep getting a pop up telling me to download some kind of software. This is happening on all pages of BP that I've been to, and also ON MY WEBSITE, which is totally not acceptable. Guys, PLEASE stop the madness.

I might have a virus or something. I'm seeing red highlighted words in the body of anything that's typed in there. Like this script above..pop up is highlighted in red as is my website.

The virus scan was negative. It's still there, but I guess I'll have to figure it out later. It's not affecting anything, just annoying.

Sounds very much like a virus to me, even if your virus scan didn't detect it. I don't see any sidebars.

Nobody sees them but me. I don't know what to do, so I'm going to do nothing, I guess.

I think it's gone. I went through my download folder and found something downloaded yesterday, so I UNINSTALLED whatever it was, and so far so good. It seems to be gone. I didn't download anything intentionally, so it must have sneaked in there somehow.
