Topaz Star Effects I just bought Topaz' new Star Effects app and I used it today ... ALL DAY. I spent more than seven hours on two edits trying to get the application to place the "star" in the CENTER of the light source ... totally frustrating. Anybody have a clue about this program and what I might be doing wrong ?? Or is it the application ?? 2/3/2012 5:19:42 PM |

Yes..It takes a while to figure it out. You can click on Sun flare 1(or whatever) and let it come up wherever it wants to..then click on add and put your cursor where you want your star. Then click remove and go over whatever you want to get rid of. This is a bit of a simplistic answer, but it will get you going in the right direction.

I've had some trouble with trying to clear it and change things..It seems to work better when you just start from scratch. I agree, it's frustrating.

They have just released version 1.1. Update and see if any of the fixes solve your problem.
