Photography Question

Merna L. Nobile

Sign in Problems

I am asked repeatedly to sign in no matter what I do! Is there a problem with what I am doing. Please let me know. I like to look at the new arrivals and comment on them, and I am ask to sign in while I am going through the new arrivals. Have I done anything wrong, and they don't believe I am who I say I am. Please advise. Merna Nobile

Most likely it isn't you -- when I make comments on photos as I try to do every day, I consider myself very lucky if I make it through half a dozen pages without being "kicked off" and have to re-log in. Sometimes it even happens when I'm in the middle of uploading a photo! If anyone else has a solution, I'd love to hear it too!

I dont know whats going on with your logins...
I never have to sign in with either my IMAC at home or my Macbook Pro as they both have Firefox and I select "remember me" when I login so that the BP site always recognizes me when I visit the page. Same thing with Safari on my Macs.

Just like Carlton, I too use Firefox as my primary browser and never had any problems logging in. Its best to send an email to BP support and they are very quick to respond and will take care of any glitches.

There's a button on the front of your computer that makes a drawer slide out.
Put 50 cents in the drawer, then push the button again and the drawer will slide back in.
That should work.

I've been kicked off and had to log back in a few times but I can't remember enough of what I was doing at the time to formulate any kind of pattern.
(I just assumed nobody liked me.):(

Maybe I'll try that "50 Cent" thing.

  Like Greg's theory,

for me, it's like a parking meter.
I have to put more money in every so often, otherwise time expires.

I, too, use Firefox and the "remember me," so I never have trouble logging in. It's STAYING logged in that's the problem. Every few pages I'm suddenly booted out and have to re-log if I want to keep commenting. Same thing happens regularly to my husband, and he's using a different computer.

I have the same problem too...usually it's reliable but every now and then, I'm bounced out even when I'm actively on the site.
