Optimal Settings For Exporting From LightRoom

I was hoping I could get specific information regarding output settings in Adobe LightRoom for photos I'm submitting for stock.

While the content of my photos is acceptable by several stock agencies, more often than not, they come back with requests for artifacting or fringing correction. Viewed at 100% before exporting, I do not see these issues which leads me to believe my export settings from LR are not optimal.

I would greatly appreciate advice on the best choices for the following categories.

FORMAT: I'm exporting as JPEG. Is this the correct location to choose this? I do not use Photoshop.
COLOR SPACE: Which one and why?

QUALITY: Is 100% always best?

IMAGE SIZING: Should I enter a W x H and if so, which formula (ex: for projected image competitions at my local camera club, they ask for 1024 x 768).
If this is the choice, do I check "Do Not Enlarge" ? Why or why not?

Or should I choose:

RESOLUTION: At what level should this be set. I've read lots of different suggestions for this.

SHARPENING: I know it's advised not to sharpen images in processing for stock. Does this apply on the export also? If sharpening here, do I sharpen for Glossy or Matte Paper?

AMOUNT: If sharpening is applied here, what amount should be chosen - low, standard or high?

I've searched for concise answers to this question to no avail and truly appreciate your input.

Sincerely,
Jo Ann Tomaselli
