Photography Question

Search Engine on BP

I was wondering if anybody knows why when you type a topic in the search engine on BP, your photos don't show up?
For example I have photos in my gallery titled Prom1, Prom2 etc. and I type in "Prom" in the search engine on BP but my images from Prom do not show up. Other prom images however do. I don't understand....

Does the word "Prom" appear in your titles or descriptions?

BP's search engine is text-driven.

  Hmmm...?
Maybe the search engine only reveals the most popular (..most visited) photos and threads within the search criteria.

try entering prom1. It is possible that it views your title as a single word and the search engine doesn't search partial words.

I don't think it reveals the most popular because there is only 11 pages of prom as opposed to 40 pages for horses.

Lol I tried entering prom1 Dennis. :) It didn't work either. And in the results that did show up when I entered "prom" had more than just prom as the title prom night, prom date etc.

I'm not too concerned about this but it's peculair and I'd sort of like my photos to show up in searches for people to see them! :)

Maybe the difference is you uploaded only to your gallery and not public to the whole bp site.
