What is this rain forest flower/plant?


 
 
I shot this at the New York Botanical Garden rain forest exhibit. I tried to find it on the internet, but Ichad no luck. Maybe someone out there knows!? It's a waxy plant nad pretty cool looking.

Bob Cammarata 		  That's an interesting looking plant/flower!

Since no one responded, I poked around on the internet for a while but also came empty.
Perhaps you should contact the New York Botanical Garden and send them the photo and ask them to identify it for you.

Jessica Jenney 		  Thanks alot, Bob for your input! I went back to the garden to ask an expert, but was given the wrong information! I guess I'll have to try again!

Kathy L. Clark 		  Jessica I certainly don't pretend to know on this one. It is lovely. I would email the image to the gardens web site and ask them. They certainly should know. Very pretty Jessica.
