Book on Black and White Photography I would like to get into black and white photography. Can anyone recommend a book for someone who is a beginner in black and white? I have searched through Amazon, but I really can't decide. Is there one book about black and white digital photography that you just can't live without? Thanks.

Hi Linda, I have two books on B&W; one is not worth the money and the other is outstanding. I won't go into details on the one I don't use as others may really love the book. No need to start a war. However, I'll certainly share my thoughts on my favorite book on B&W: "Black and White in Photoshop CS3 and Photoshop Lightroom" by Leslie Alsheimer. ISBN: 978-0-240-52084-1. I know you won't be disappointed with my recommendation (at least I hope so). John

I only have Photoshop CS2 and am without the financial ability to upgrade that. Would this book still be helpful? Thank you for answering my question!
