best digital for macro and night shots I am looking for a digital camera that is great in taking macro and night shots. I am a complete beginner, but need the camera for both my art and for taking pictures of jewelry that I make. I have a light box, and have used some cameras with a macro feature but they still come out fuzzy and that was with a tripod. I also want to take pictures of stars, the moon, silhouettes of trees at night etc. I would greatly appreciate any information sent my way on any aspect of the above.

Many cameras will fill this bill. I think your best bet is a Canon S5. Not too expensive - not an SLR - has electronic viewfinder - has macro - 8MP - should be OK. Alan Marcus

I would recommend a DSLR with a larger aperture lens (e.g. f1.4 and above).
