Best Online Storage to share with Customers

What online albums would you recommend for customers to be able to download their photographs at the same resolution you shoot at?

Any push in the right direction would be appreciated!

Thanks!
Donae

Afaik all of the online albums impose upper limits on the max. size of images that are well below the output sizes/resolutions that most modern cameras are capable of, Donae. So if you upload full-size OOC files they either get rejected as too large, or they get downsized automatically to the max. size the online album site allows.

So, I submit that online albums as a distribution method for high-res photos currently isn't a viable proposition.

Have fun!

For transfer of large files and folders I use 3 FREE online services:

• Podmailing.com is FREE and allows transfer of unlimited numbers of files of unlimited size. I've transferred upto 6GB files without a hitch.

• Yousendit.com is FREE upto 1GB/month with max 100MB per transfer.

• Pando.com is FREE upto 1GB of files or folders per transfer.

  Hi Donae,
I have used Kodal/Ofoto for years. You can upload large sized images but only a small res version is displayed or saveable (with right click) but if anyone wants to order a print, they will ba able to print any size allowable by the size you uploaded.
You can also invite people to view the album you created from their website.

  Yes W,
I looked on the site for size limits and they dont mention any. I have never uploaded an image that was declined and I have uploaded 6MB image files before. They do print poster sized 20x30 prints as well.
I usually size mine down a bit (under 1MB each) to save on upload time which makes a difference when I am uploading 300 images to a new album.

OK, Carlton, thanks.
So as file sizes only increase, and since TIFFs for instance (for printing!) are waaay larger than JPGs, the jury is still out on the upper size limits that online albums accept. Thus on their suitability to solve the OP's problem...
