Color Correction Plug-In for Elements I have Photoshop Elements 5.0, and have been experimenting lately with color correcting plug-ins, such as Akvis, and Intellihance Pro 4.0. Now, it's time to buy one, and I see that onone software also offers Essentials (for Adobe Photoshop Elements). There is no free download for this one. I need advice. Does anyone have a preference for color correction plug ins? And can all of these be used with Elements? Thanks so much for your input. Much appreciated.

Afaik most plug-ins that work in Photoshop also function in Photoshop Elements, Mary Beth. FYI: I rarely use plug-ins as imo they degrade the image quality unacceptably. So I prefer to edit manually, photo for photo. Meanwhile I DO have a list of plug-ins (for CS3) as long as your arm. 231MB's worth. And, like I said, I expect them to work with PSE too. Let me know if you want 'm (send me a PM with an email address). Have fun!

Mary Beth, I wouldn't go with a plugin. If you have Elements, you already have everything you need. Take a look at my needs-to-be-re-written-because-it-is-aging tutorial here and save the money on the plugin. It was written for Photoshop but it works for Elements just as well. Elements is a very powerful program. I have some free tools for Elements users of all versions on my Elements website http://hiddenelements.com. There is a color correction tool there as well...it automates the process I describe in the tutorial. I hope that helps! Richard Lynch
