Photographers Pass There will be a large bluse festival in my city next month, how do I go about getting a photographers pass. I have contacted all the local large and small papers with no success. Thanks Art

Honest ways are what you've already tried, contact the promoter of the festival and offer to shoot for free and give them pictures(not much hope for such short notice, not very good chances either unless you have something to show what you've done before), contact a music magazine like you did with the local newspapers, contact the marketing coordinator of the venue and make your offer. Problem is all of these probably already have somebody doing the photos lined up.(especially the large newspaper). Probably did that a few months ago.
