iTTL shoot with nikon sb400 hi good day..newbie here..i have a problem with my nikon sb-400 speedlight purchased a year ago..somewhat I noticed that everytime I shoot at iTTL mode with that flash I smell first a somewhat a burned wire coming from my flash and later on little smoke..i shift to manual mode and I notice nothing..anybody could me tell me if what should I do or anybody has the same problem like mine..am using nikon d40x tnx very much,

If you're seeing/smelling smoke then there is something seriously wrong and you should have it serviced.

tnx jon..although I already think about it but the problem was I am a little bit FAARRR away from the nearest service center of nikon given that I was in mindanao and I had it repaired to manila..by the way im from the phillipines..( that was a 3 days by boat)..but its okay..i will still used it through its manual mode instead in iTTL.
