Batch Conversion

I was wondering if there is a way to batch convert tiff files to jpeg..example: 50 wedding photos shot in raw format on a Nikon D-200. I have PS 2 & 3 and also Elements. Is there another program that can do this or do I have to do each one individual. I usually go in and tweak the photo and save it as a tiff, but then when I get done tweaking I would like to be able to select all the files and then save a copy as jpeg.

IrfanView should be able to do it Robert. It's free. www.irfanview.com Miller's Professional Imaging actually recomends it.

I created an action in PS CS, then I run the batch operation.

Photomechanic is a very fast operating viewer/file manager work flow program. It is a little pricier than most but one of its really nice utilities is a function that extracts and copies the jpeg thumbnails from a raw file. It will also copy from your card reader to two destination sites simultaneously.
