Photography Question

Anita D. Newling

Photography problems in London?

I'll be in the UK for 6 months and am concerned about the problems photographers are having in London. Anyone had any problems there or heard about any? Should I just continue and hope I don't get stopped by the authorities? I can't seem to find any guidelines about where you can and can't shoot.

Try contacting the British Consulate Attache in either Washington D.C., New York or Sanb Francisco. I'm sure they could point you to an official website or a government brochure.

I haven't heard anything, and I would just carry on as if you didn't know anything. Take you reciepts for your major equpment with you so you can prove that you purcahsed the stuff when you come back through customs.
