Canon Lens

I'm thinking about purchasing the Canon 55mm-250mm IS lens. Have anyone use this lens or have this lens. Your feedback would be great.

Hi,

I have this lens and I really like it. Image quality is excellent - really sharp for a lens in this price range - but the aspect I like the most is the small size and light weight of the lens. Since I got it, it's virtually lived on my camera. The image stabilization works very well. I'm thrilled with the results I'm getting. Honestly, there aren't many downsides to this lens, for the price. If the range works for you, don't hesitate to buy it. I'm having a blast with mine. The attached portrait of my dog was shot handheld at 250 mm.

Bobby, don't know what camera you've got but it only works with Canon Rebel, 10D, 20D, 30D & 40D...Looks like a lens you could bring on vacations/picnics and its cheap.

Just posted test shots that I took last night of my cat. He's the only cooperative soul in my house! All were handheld at slow shutter speed and 1600 ISO. I was amazed how little post processing I had to do.
