Batch renaming in Vista After editing a recent wedding shoot I went to batch rename the images before buring a CD (!). The rename was unusual (multiple names of some images) so I undid the rename(ctrl z) and tried a redo. This resulted in losing ALL of the edited images!!!!! :( Aaaaah!! They are not anywhere on my PC. I had a compter expert come for a look & he was unable to find them either. He did some research later and found a post from someone in August of '07 highlighting this 'bug'. Has anyone else come across this and what were you able to do! (I have lost a substantial amount of time but not the originals which are on my PC + CD. Luckily) Following on from this I thought I would reload my cards & start again BUT 2 of the cards now appear to be corrupt!! Is it safe to put them back in the camera and check to see if I can view the images there? On the download it is saying that it can't read the format for some images and for others there is a big question mark instead of an image. What a nightmare!!!
