Suggestions for filter in Photoshop Elements 3

I was in Washington DC last week to see the Cherry Blossoms.  While at the Korean momunment, a group of soldiers came up to see the monument.  I took several pictures of the soldiers, most of which the soldiers faces are not identifiable because they are only seen in reflections.  However, there are some pictures where I got so excited abotu the shot, I forgot to make sure they weren't identifiable since I didn't have a model release signed.  Any suggestions on a filter that I can use in Elements3 that will blur their faces without loosing the detail of the picture?

  Sara,
There is no "blur the face" filter, of course. You'll likely need to use some type of selective correction/adjustment, but without seeing the image it is that much harder to suggest something that will do anything near what you expect. Suggestions that may help will have to consider the entire content of the image.

Can you post a sample of one of these shots?

Hi Sara,

Lasso the face to blur, feather the selected area, apply a blur filter. Don't like the result? Start over.

Have fun!

Thank you for your suggestions. I realize that the question was kind of vague, but I wasn't sure I should even post the pictures for critique if I didn't have a model release. I'm attaching them this time! Hopefully that will help. I will try to lasso the faces and blur them this morning. I'll let you know how that works out!

Thanks!
