Creative Fire Department Shoot

I've been asked to photograph our local fire department. I've been trying to think of something more creative then 40 guys/gals lined up in front of the Ladder truck that you typically see. They have an antique fire truck that I'd really rather use but 40 fire fighters would over whelm it I think. Any suggestions from you creative minds out there for a not so typical shot? I have the freedom to do whatever I want - trucks, no truck, on scene, off scene. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Shame on you for wanting to be more creative.
I'd suggest adding a few young female models/friends/ to the photos to spice things up, dress them in firemens outfits, then shooting in groups of four, five or six using props, and different poses, rated PG of coarse, you might slip in an R rating here and there/ maybe a bikini.

Hi Dianna, How about a central photo of the group and the blending in some accent photos around the edges like a closeup of a bell, pole, fire hydrant, badge, hose, etc.. and making more of a collage image ?
This is easily done using layers, transform/move tool (for sizing and location of inset photos) & opacity to blend them together.

Carlton, your awesome! Great idea. Thanks Bernard, while that would be fun this is supposed to be a professional photo. Thank you both for you input.

Hi Diana, I was going to offer you help with the collage but I see from your "Cowboy" photo on your website, you already know how to do this. I do love sepia as well.
Good luck, Carlton

  Hi Dianna
Sorry I didn't realise "this will be a professional photo", but be advise' even though the firemen will enjoy these type of girls more, (even after the photo session) when posting these photo's your options will be limited.

Thanks again for your help. Carlton that very sweet of you to offer and thanks for the compliment. This was I think my first or second attempt at a collage. I've gotten a bit better, It's an art form in itself.

I've used the burned out building as much as possible as a backdrop for fire department photographs. It adds a touch of drama.
