Recommended fashion photography lens for NikonD200 Can anyone recommend a great portrait lens for a Nikon D200? I am looking to use it for some fashion type photography, weddings, and some head shots. I am looking for something wide angle. Any suggestions besides a 50mm?

Hi Candace, you are going to want to stay away from wide mangles for portraits. If you are too close you will get distortion making the nose or other portruding parts look bigger than normal. If you back up enough the subject will look too small. You could get away with something as short as around a 30-35 mm focal length because with the D200's DX format this would have approximately the same field of view as a 50 mm on a 35mm camera body.

Wide angle for head shots, not usually done, but any lens can be a portrait lens.
