Photography Question

Am I Missing Something?

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to set my Canon 40D to 100 ISO on manual operation - it goes down to 200 ISO then Auto, which I do not wish to use.

I can see where if I go to the custom function modes on the dial, I can get it to go down to ISO 100, but I simply want this setting on the regular manual mode on the dial. I've read through the manual and can't seem to find an answer anywhere, but I've never heard a complaint on this, so I think I'm just missing something.

I've used canons for years and have owned a 10D, 20D, 30D, 40D, as well as canon film cameras, but this ISO thing has me stumped. Anybody know what I'm doing wrong?

Figured it out. FYI for others - You have to disable highlight tone priority in your custom functions to go to ISO 100 in manual setting.

Or, simply reset to Default Settings.
