I need some help with Paint Shop Pro 8

I hope some one can help me on this. I use Paint Shop Pro 8 for a lot of my Photoshop work.Well this Photoshop contest I was going to enter said I had to "You must show at least two photos with each entry. The first is the original and the last is your finished product. You must also show a photo of your layer palette." I understand the first two but I don't understand this layer palette deal. Since I use Paint Shop Pro 8 the most for my Photoshop work because it has more then Photoshop CS2 or CS3 for different things I do. I haven't seen anything on layer palette on it because all I do now is just write everything down telling it in words how I did my photos in Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro 8.So wasn't sure if any one would knew how I could go about this in Paint Shop Pro 8? I sure could use any help on this! Thanks

If it's a photoshop contest, seems you should make sure that it's open to other programs besides photoshop.
In the top tool bar of photoshop, and I believe in paint shop, there's a heading titled "windows". Click and scroll to the words "show layers", it opens a window on your screen that displays the layers of your image.
And I guess you may not know what layers are so click on "image" in the tool bar and go down to "duplicate layer" so you can see a basic display of what layers does for you.
They want a picture of your layers palette so the have some proof of what you did, as opposed to you sending in a photo that was already made.

I can use Paint Shop Pro 8 in this photo contest but they want you to show the layer palette like you said to show how you did the photo.
In my Paint Shop Pro 8 if I go under Windows all it shows is: New windows,Cascade,Tile Horizontally,Tile Vertically,Close all,Duplicate,Fit to Image,Fit to window and Fit to screen.I don't see anything saying show layers I have looked all over my Paint Shop Pro 8 but no luck yet. And yes I do not know what layers are.
Any help on this I would really appreciate.

Thanks.

Check out your gallery. Seems to me like there is a lot of layer work going on in your photos.

Willie,
It does show a layer palette on the side but it doesn't show every step from start to finish.
I'm trying to learn how to do this:Show a photo of your layer palette. See in Photoshop CS2 or CS3 you see every step of your layer palette and that's what I'm trying to learn.I don't understand the layer palette.
