Storage

Is it possible to move pictures from a CD to a memory card found in digital cameras?
I have one of those photo frames and instead of using a thumb drive I'd rather use a memory card(less obtrusive).

Yes, Benjamin.
It's a matter of Drag & Drop.

Have fun!

Get a card reader like SanDisk ImageMateŽ 12-in-1 Reader/Writer

This will read/write just about any different memory cards you may have.
As above, do "Drag & Drop" from your CD.

Oh, by the way, don't pay $35.
You can buy it for less from a local store like Fry's Electronics,
or online store like amazon.com.

Rom A.G.   I got a DaneElec card reader 12 in 1 for $10. It acts like a drive. I use my 2gb for storage. HOWEVER, you CANNOT read photos on the camera from the card.

Huh? Why get a 12-in-1 reader/writer when most people, in real life, need only one or two formats? Three at most?

A built-in average obsolescence ratio of 10-to-2 somehow doesn't sound very sensible to me.

Ok, this one for CF Type I and II cards only for $16.25 at Amazon, slightly more at B&H.

I got the Sandisk CF 800 Firewire reader that is so fast it can download the images before I insert the card. I mean like shooting at iso3200 at f/2 on a bright sunny day fast... :)

because it's cheap, and you never know who else might need a card reader to read their xD or CF cards.
BTW, why get a car that goes 120mph, when most people drive 55-65mph.

You got 12 PC's too? You never know who else might need a PC....
;-)

Indeed.
Which is why mine won't go much over 90mph (downhill ;-) ). Couldn't get a slower one.
