Re-entering Edited photos I was just wondering if I could enter a photo that is the same as one that I entered before into the contest. This one is different because it has been edited in ps. I got an EP on the other one, and I wondered if it was possible to get another EP on the edited version.

Absolutely, you may enter the edited version, and it may be awarded an EP. ..but I would enter it in different month. Another thing to consider, however, is if entering in the same month, enter both as "Before and After" entry in the Digital Darkroom category. They won't be two different entries in this case. The intent of "Before and After" is to show how you can enhance or alter an image in the digital editing.

If you uploaded the exact same photo 30 times and entered it each time, you could get 30 EPs.

may the force be with you?i enjoy the statement by dennis. I also know chewy is looking over my shoulder.that shadows have a voice.even though unspoken they are still there. though stupididity is a common factor in my responses,my goal is to right a wrong. still,there's tommorow.

Yes you can re-enter it. Whether you made changes or not. And no Dennis - I have to say - even if you enter it 30 times - you'd probably only get an EP maybe 15... I know - I've re-entered work... But if you truly believe in a shot - then keep trying. You never know when it's going to make it through. (you can ask fellow photographers for advice on how to improve it - which is what happened with my "Yummy" shot (lion's tongue)... even with my demeanor,i must rely on anothers help.that I may see another looking upon my shoulder,with great respect,less a bit of anger,i respond. another ep?not a finalist?to sell yourself short? though I believe ep's constrict a photographers development,wow I got that?some are happy?hmm. I believe bp needs to re-evaluate its premise.to further a photographers goal,not be submissive and settle for a slight change. yes I have taken the darth vader approach. yet as I look over my shoulder and those of many,i see many works of art. subjective and comparative.that my work is less?well yes to a point.ahhhh. oops I forgot,digital galleries suck. me on hom me dah.sam
