welcome todd, looks like you've been traveling or were on vacation. great scenics,seems your time of day lacks some learning and conditions can be much more favorable. I think your point of perspective is good,yet the light is less than favorable. it's possible where you were,that scenic,will only render a few good shots a year.the odds are without patience and going there many times,you won't share with us it's true beauty. nature seems to hold back on those few given shots.she,mother nature,seems to hold us in contempt.as to say,so you showed up,yet can you capture my glory. then maybe your handholding and trying to get depth of field? or,i went and had breakfast and after that I went to the shoot?blew off the right time of day,yet your stomach wasn't growling. still no class on expierence..just a shot!!! mumford

2nd response..filters.cp,nd. aperature priority.tripod.remote release. it's possible a grad filter would work,we don't know todd.you post no settings or descriptions,time of day? many don't. sam
