Heather,

Hi, I am a new owner of the Z712 and so far, I love it. It is very easy to use and if you have any photography skills at all this one will be a breeze for you. I found mine online at bestbuy.com for $212.49, however I am hearing of a lot of people getting theirs through dell.com and somewhere else that I can't remember for under $200. Considering the Z710 is $229 at most stores and the Z712 is $249, I feel like the Z712 is worth the extra $20 for the better zoom. If you can luck out and find it less than the Z710, then you are even better off. Try it. Most places have at least a 14 day return policy. If you aren't pleased with it, you can always take it back for a refund. Just keep all of the packaging. Good luck.
