Lensbabies What are Lensbabies. I have seen the ads aand I have not found any reviews on them to understand what they are or how they work. Can someone help me to understand how they work and what they do to help get better pictures. Do they increase forcus, correct perspective or do they work like a filter? Thanks Carol

I think people are going to have different takes on September's theme (like a cute baby holding a lens?) But I think what they're looking for is pics taken with this specialty lens: http://www.lensbabies.com/ http://www.lensbabies.com/index.php?page=lb2/galleries There are also Photoshop actions that imitate the same look... I did it on this photo: http://www.betterphoto.com/gallery/big.php?photoID=2499044 You can find the action here: http://www.atncentral.com/download.htm

Lensbabies is happy to offer prizes for this contest, but we don't have to be the theme. How about a theme like 'Beautiful blur'? Photographers include blur in all kinds of images, using techniques such as depth of field, motion blur, long exposures, as well as Lensbabies. We definitely want all photographers to feel like they can participate in this contest. If you have any questions about Lensbabies after visiting Lensbabies.com, please ask! While you can sort of approximate the Lensbaby look in Photoshop, Lensbabies have a lot of fans among Photoshop experts like Katrine Eismann. In fact, Photoshop User Magazine awarded Lensbaby 3G a 5 star review in this months edition! I have posted a couple Lensbaby photos for you to consider. Sincerely, Sam
