Lens for shooting weddings


Could suggest a lens to shoot weddings. I use a D70

  For zoom lens you generally want f/2.8 for low light and shallow depth of field to separate your subject from the background. A range from moderate wide angle (entire alter, family groups, etc.) to short tele (head 'n shoulders protrait) is a very useful. Usual suspects are Nikon 17-55 f/2.8G ED AF-S DX, Tamron 17-50 f/2.8 XR Di II, Tokina 16-50 f/2.8 DX, and Sigma 18-50 f/2.8 EX DC Macro.
