Speedlite mounted in umbrella I have the Canon ST-E2 speedlite transmitter for mounting my Speedlite remotely in umbrella. What difference in results will the black/white or black/silver give?

Silver while more reflective gives off a harsher light.. the white will be more soft but it really is kinda hard to tell..lol Besides, once you get the bug.. youll be out buying soft boxes, Alien Bees lighting and all sorts of modifiers in no time...lol Have you been to the "strobist" site yet? google it to learn all there is to learn about off camera hot shoe flash usage... for free!!
