Slideshows of Images Ok, so I currently do online slideshows to show my clients sample albums (like this) http://creativecandids.biz/carla_john Well, several have asked if it is possible to purchase a slideshow on dvd. I have spent all morning reading threads on slideshow software, and im pretty sure that im going to buy proshow gold. MY QUESTION, can people take a dvd created with this program and print the images contained on it or are they imbeded in the video. What I do not want is my customers being able to take the images to walgreens and having less than desirable prints of my work out there. Any thoughts? Thanks! Jen www.creativecandids.biz

It's not a safe bet to say that anything is impossible, because with determination and time, almost anything can be accomplished. That said, I don't think you have anything to worry about. They won't be able to just bring the DVD to Walgreens and get pictures printed. They may be able to make small prints at home using screen capture tools, but they won't be able to print anything large enough or nice enough to be useful. Chris

Jen, Proshow gold has the ability to include the photos WITH the slide show. It is a (checkbox) option; so be sure to UNCHECK it. To make prints from the slideshow itself is difficult, one would have to be a computer expert. Pro Show gold re-formats the images to play in any DVD or CD player, so extracting the photos to print is nearly impossible.
