Photography Question
Who Me?

I think if Toyota and Canon got together

Holy Crap! I have become a fan of both and never once had a problem. Could it be luck, or companies that strive to be the best. Like a digtal Uzi.

Good drivers (AND good photographers), will have fewer mishaps no matter what machine they choose to get behind.

Some like to settle. You get what you pay for.

If this were an automotive group, I'd have plenty to say. LOL

doug Nelson   As a satisfied user of both, I think this line of questioning is relevant. It's not rocket science, really. It involves competent engineering, control over production, and quality control.

Both companies risk a lot by using poorly made parts from providers of cheap labor. These two seem to do a bit less of it than the competition.

My friends cars are in the shop at least 2 to 3 times a year. My car hasn't seen the rack in the 3 years I've owned it. Like I said, you get what you pay for.

Bob Fately   Ah, Peggy - can't you see? This yutz has too much time on his hands and likes to make noise...first of all, the entire thread is entirely pointless. Second, he/she/it actually changed both the photo and the sign-in name from the original posting - a real genius with HTML I betcha - and want us all to know it.

The initial remark on this thread is an example of what's known as "trolling" - not because the person putting it up is a troll (though that's often the case) but because miscreants like this enjoy putting up inflammatory statements to see what kinds of responses it gets.

Oh, and this is thepart that the troll himself will point out is my such remark.

Best to utterly ignore this thread. There was another poster - Derek, I recall - who also relished putting up pointless and stupid remarks, just 'cause he is so clever and all. Perhaps "Who Me?" is one and the same person (and I use that term loosely).

Sadly, Betterphoto, as many other list groups, has sufferred more of these fools in the past months - another sign that our society is swirling down the drain.

This is my one and only remark on this thread - and I only did it as I wanted to give Peggy some perspective on how to recognize idiocy.
