Problem Uploading Images

Just uploaded some new images and the color is awful. Has anybody had problems recently? I used the new uploader and not sure if this could be causing it. I can't think of anything else different.

Suzanne, you can contact Heather (heather@betterphoto.com)- she is always glad to help with any technical problems regarding the site.

A few things to help your photos on BP by the way:

- I reduce my shots to 20x30" @ 72dpi Jpegs and sharpen them a little stronger since they blur a little online

- If the color is bad, either pump it up in the Jpeg (add some Saturation in Photoshop, around 10), and re-save the image (so you don't ruin your original). This won't change your color, but since web colors lose some original info, the additional saturation will make it look closer.

- Also, try changing the color space of your image

Hope this helps!

Suzanne, is your photo sRGB? If you upload an RGB the colors will be very muted.

Try using the single image unloader. Size it to 480 pixels in the short end at high jpeg quality. The color space should, I think, be sRGB.

Try and see if that helps.
