Purchase of Sony A100 DSLR

Can some body tell me how good is the Sony A100 DLSR camera Pro Kit which is available on ebay under $1000 (range $900-1000). The deal includes the following:

Is it a good deal with the additional acceories. It makes me think why would sony sell this way? is the camera not good enough to sell on its own?
