Wedding Photos On May 12th I have to shoot a wedding. I want to know, what would be the best things to suggest for this. I own a Nikon D80, and I need a speedlight, but I am unsure of which to buy, the SB-600, or the 800. It will be my first wedding shoot, and I'm super nervous. Any tips and pointers would be great(besides telling me to take HUNDREDS of pictures lol) Thanks, David

David, I had the Sb-600 and bought the Sb-800 and WOW! whay a differance! I only use the sb600 now for some fill at events. Also , make sure you have a couple 1 Gig Cards. I personally like the Lexar x80 and /or the Sandisk Extreem. I like to also have a few filters:Polerizer, soft focus, a Star Burst and a Center Spot for some beautiful effects. I hope this helps, Debby

Thank you so much Debby. I will have to look around for the filters. The only filters I could find were at Best Buy(where I bought my camera) and they weren't too good, except the circular polarizer I bought(great for blues!) I have over a month to prepare and practice, but I'm still quite nervous, but less nervous now that I have some advice! Thanks

I have a 18-135mm lens. Decent, it came with the camera body. I was thinking a 28mm lens for the wide angle shots. Does that sound good?

I have one of these I use quite a bit: http://cgi.ebay.com/Tamron-XR-IF-AF-28-200mm-Macro-for-Nikon-Mint_W0QQitemZ230110675567QQihZ013QQcategoryZ30067QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem and : http://cgi.ebay.com/Tamron-AF-70-300mm-Di-LD-Telephoto-Zoom-Lens-for-Nikon_W0QQitemZ230112187317QQihZ013QQcategoryZ30067QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem and: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190098926110&fromMakeTrack=true&ssPageName=VIP:watchlink:top:us I have a wide angle as well, but don't find I use it as much. You will need extra battery 2-3 as well http://cgi.ebay.com/New-Nikon-EN-EL3e-ENELe-Battery-for-D200-D80-D70s-D50_W0QQitemZ250100820182QQihZ015QQcategoryZ48519QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
http://cgi.ebay.com/Quantum-Battery-2-Professional-Charger-Nikon_W0QQitemZ300097408775QQihZ020QQcategoryZ64354QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem and a Camera Bracket is also very useful.

I'm thinking about going the eBay route, I'm just worried about the quality of the product when I receive i.e. scratches on the lens. But this is all great. Well I was just informed that I am not only shooting the reception, the wedding, but also preliminary pictures FOR the wedding. They want to use natural lighting. I'm thinking for the lighting, I might have to use a diffuser. Am I right in this thinking?
