Lens I have been asked to shoot an out door wedding, The lens I have is a 18-200mm. do you think that would be a good lens for the job or would you choose something different.

Well, certainly that lens will give you a great deal of flexibility in terms of distance to subject(s) and angle of view, but you might also want to take along a faster (perhaps prime) lens so you can get shots at wider apertures and reduced depth of field. In other words, for the formal type shots or the ceremony itself, a faster lens could give you the result of the bride & groom in sharp focus while the audience or shrubbery in the bacground stays out of focus (and thus is less distracting). But for the reception the 18-200 might be the only lens you'll end up using.

well outdoor is a de variety of options, 30% experience does everything think they have? You can't ask anyone how to shoot certain things, only 25% does any of you any understand. I was the same way, but the journey is long and hard to understand. Others move faster, but just understand that they have might invested more.
