tricia if the architecture has strong design elements then you could put it into "elements of design". you could also put it into "catch all" also if it is a cityscape you could put it into landscape. But it sounds like you are referring to the first two categories. hope this helps. justin

Thanks Justin. I've been putting them in Elements of design, but do you think my old farmhouse series would be better off in Catch all? Most of those shots are focusing on specific elements of the house, not the entire house. You can take a peek at my site or gallery if you want to make a suggestion. I'm assuming the Sun Tower is best in Elements of Design?

tricia i did browse through your gallery. the ones that really hit me of e of design were sun tower and this old home. I think remeber me could be in that category too. the other farmhouse ones could be in e of design or catch all. they say sometimes that a single image can fit into different categories. if I were you I would look through the finalists in both of those categories and see where you think they belong. hope this helps. justin

tricia the first 5 images in my gallery I clasified in elements of design as I felt that they had strong design elements. :-)

Thanks for the help, Justin. As you can see, I've just been doing these for fun while working my current "real" job. LOL! The job has its perks in I can get some neat photos sometimes on these country roads.
